Valentines day challenge.

It's Valentines Day- you are surrounded by people you love and you are most likely getting special attention from someone. Please pray for those who have no one. Orphans. Imagine for a minute never having a mom or dad- a brother or sister, a grandma, grandpa, aunts, uncles- no one. Can you a picture a life with no family. No background to know who you are and where you come from? Can you imagine a life so lonely that you know there is no one there to have your back- no one to stand up for you? Can you honestly imagine that isolation? There are 147 Million children- CHILDREN- who live that life every single day. There are some children who are put into cribs and they stay there- no one cuddles them- no one hugs them. If you have a child or children- imagine that child being starved of love. Picture them never being held, kissed, hugged, sang to, told a story. This is real life people. There are children who are 10 and the size of a 2 year old because of malnutrition and starvation- because they have been left in a crib for years!! YEARS!! Now here's the challenge- I am not asking that everyone one go and adopt a child. Here is what I am asking you- pray!! Go to Project Hopeful, Reeces Rainbow or any adoption site- pick a child and pray for that child- pray that they find their family. If you're able- go to project hopeful and join the FIG program- "family in the gap". Support this child every month till their family finds them. That is do-able. EVERYONE can pray for a child. Hit your knees and stand in the gap for these innocent children who so desperatly want a family to call their own. If you do feel called- pray about adopting. There are ways to do this- trust me we don't have money just laying around to be able to fund an adoption, but I do believe we are called to adopt. So I am putting my trust in the Lord and knowing HE will provide for the adoption costs. If money is the only thing standing in your way- step out in faith- take some action- do some fundraisers to help raise the money- there are soo many options available to you. Money should not be the only reason that you can't adopt a child. Where God guides He provides!! So now- start the challenge- pick a child- and pray for them- pray HARD!!
