Brick by Brick....welll

Ok so this whole adoption thing is like a big puzzle that we are piecing together piece by piece. A lot of people do this fundraiser called a puzzle fundraiser- where they buy a puzzle of like 1,000 pieces and then they "sell" the pieces. My fellow adoptive mom came up with a great play on this- she called it the house that love built- cute huh? Renee is just SUPER creative like that. Seriously- go check out her blog- it's the chasing moonlight one. You'll love it. Anyways- her idea was to buy a lego house and sell the blocks! So I am "borrowing" her idea! You're asking- what would someone want with a few lego http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifblocks? Good question! Here's how it works-

You buy a lego piece, but we keep it- we write your name on it and add it to the lego structure- you will forever be in that house. We will build the house brick by brick...well block by block ;) and your name will be on there. We are going to super glue each piece so it won't come apart and then it will be given to Pasha when he comes home and he will be able to see all the different people who played a role in bringing him home! How cool is that? So here's the house we are buying-



Cute isn't it?? I think Pasha will love it!! So there are 539 pieces and we are selling each piece for $2! So after cost of the house and shipping we will make 1,000! That will pay for our I600A filing fees! So who wants to help us build this house- brick by brick? Please share this blog and get word out there- we should be able to send in our I600A in about 2 weeks!! YEA!!!
